Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Geocaching is a very nice activity for young and old. In this way, hiking with kids will be fun and exciting! They will be very busy to find the treasures. From Casa Lobera you can find several geocaches.

Walk to the waterfalls

What about a walk from Casa Lobera via the village of Canillas de Aceituno to the waterfalls? The route offers a well accessible path and on the way you will come across two recently restored walkways (los Saltillos) in the Almanchares Gorge.

River walk

Definitely a must: a walk through the Rio Chillar. The route crosses the Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama natural park and offers plenty of shade and wonderful swimming in crystal clear water! There is no better way to cool off on a hot summer day. Also fantastic together with kids!

4x4 safari

Would you like to enjoy nature in an easy and comfortable way? Go on a 4x4 safari to the southern or the nothern part of the Axarquía region! There are trips of a half-day and a whole day. We can also organize a day tour to the Caminito del Rey or the Alhambra de Granada, including entrance tickets. The big advantage is that everything will be arranged for you and you do not have to drive back after a long day.

Mountain biking

For the energetic and adventurous tourist mountain biking around Casa Lobera is a must. In the surroundings you will find many paved roads with little traffic and a large network of unpaved narrow paths. You will enjoy fantastic views and idyllic Andalusian white villages. For both beginners and experienced mountain bikers there are challenging routes. A good level of fitness is required and even more important than a lot of experience.
